Sunset Photoshoot in Nha Trang | Beach & Golden Hour

This series was photographed by the sea toward sunset, when the harsher daytime light gradually becomes softer and warmer. We used the beach, the waterline and the coastal rocks, so even within one location the photographs developed quite different compositions and moods.

During a sunset session, the light changes quickly. At first it is still bright enough for cleaner, more contrasty portraits, then it gradually becomes warmer and softer as the sun drops lower. Rather than building the whole shoot around one fixed pose, I prefer to watch the direction of the light, the background and how the person looks naturally in each moment.

What I like about golden hour is this gradual change of atmosphere. Within one evening photoshoot, it is possible to create both lighter beach portraits and warmer images closer to sunset. I photograph individual, beach and sunset portrait sessions in Nha Trang and Cam Ranh.
