Behavior, Character & Brief Moments in Wildlife

This gallery brings together photographs of animals, birds and insects made over many years across Asia and Southeast Asia — from monkeys and tropical birds to larger animals and smaller details of the natural world.

I am especially interested in behavior, expression and brief moments that reveal individual character. Some photographs depend on patience and observation; others are shaped by light, background and timing, allowing the subject to stand out from a complex environment while preserving the feeling of a real encounter.

This is an author portfolio rather than a wildlife service tied to one specific location. I am currently based in Nha Trang, Vietnam, and continue to photograph animals, birds and nature while traveling throughout Southeast Asia.
