Individual photoshoot in Phuket: Mai Khao Beach with low-flying planes, followed by a tropical waterfall deeper inland

Phuket Photoshoot | Mai Khao, Low-Flying Planes & Tropical Waterfall

This session became especially personal because the first location was not chosen at random. She works as a flight attendant and has always loved aviation, so we started at Mai Khao Beach, where aircraft pass very low over the shoreline on their final approach. There was no need for complicated posing here — I mostly gave simple direction on where to move, where to look and when to slow down, then photographed her natural reactions, movement and energy.

After the beach, we drove inland to a tropical waterfall, where the whole mood of the shoot changed. The open coastline and aircraft were replaced by rocks, flowing water and dense tropical greenery. Within one day, the session became two very different visual stories connected by the same person and the same emotional energy.

I especially enjoy individual photoshoots where the location has a personal connection to the person rather than being chosen only as a beautiful background. I am now based in Nha Trang and photograph individual, travel and lifestyle sessions in Nha Trang and Cam Ranh.
